# Overview

Bound's Launchpad is a **Virtual Mint** platform for creating and launching runes tokens on Bitcoin - designed to keep liquidity within the Bitcoin ecosystem.

## The problem it solves

Traditional on-chain token mints export millions of dollars in BTC from the community to miners as transaction fees. Bound's Virtual Mint solves this by processing mints off-chain in a virtual mempool, then using the committed BTC to seed an AMM liquidity pool instead.

## Three goals

* **Liquid markets** - Retain liquidity within Bitcoin while making it immediately available for trading
* **Transparency & equal access** - Fair, open minting with time-based auctions for better token distribution
* **Reward the community** - Token creators and long-term holders share ongoing trading fees from the locked LP position

* **Participate in mints** - Bid for tokens in the virtual mempool
* **Earn as a Diamond Hand** - Hold your tokens and earn a share of ongoing trading fees
* **Trade post-launch** - Launched tokens are immediately available on the Runes AMM
